R&D activities in YEMTAR are made by following “Design Development Process” in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 QMS. As part of process is taken the opinion of the other department for optimum solution by holding meetings with production manager, Project development manager and foreign assembly chef.

Design development suggestion for new or exist product is come from customer, management, technical personnel or workshop personnel. Acceptable suggestions are followed suitable to process as part of design development plan and are reviewed.

New designs are surely verified after production. The products with verification approval are validated if it is possible in workshop, in feed plant for special case. If there is a noncomformity for design input-output, design development plan should be revised and the process should be done again.

On design works in YEMTAR is used most current professional soft-ware. SOLIDWORKS is used on solid and technical drawing stage , ANSYS analysis and simulation program is used resistance and fatigue analysises stage. R&D activities are performed by specialist design staff in project development department.
